The overall approach is focused on clarifying a unique wellness vision just for you and mapping out tailored microsteps to help you move toward that vision. The sessions include a questions-based approach with creative exercises to unlock rich discussion and insight as well as most importantly, clear actions.

I started Spark WELL Co. b/c I believe at the core people want (and need) to be well. The definition of wellness is different for each person, but overall wellness means it works for them, they feel happy, they have clarity of their path and purpose. Sometimes a Spark is needed to get on that path to wellness. I have seen the power of this Spark in coaching individuals. People learn to embrace their own definition of wellness and become confident and excited to be well, their way.
That’s a perfect time to talk! 65%* of people agree that they want to take steps to improve their health & wellness but they simply don’t know where to start and this holds them back. The belief of Spark WELL is that it is truly about one step at a time. And one microstep at a time. We will work together to map out these small steps that can lead to big change over time. Spark WELL Co. takes a holistic approach to health and wellness - this includes nutrition, mind, movement, purpose - and focused on small, achievable microsteps personalized for you. This is not a meal plan, this is not an exercise routine, this is not a set of "rules", this is about moving toward your own health goals in a sustainable, one step at a time approach. And importantly, I encourage, motivate and nudge you along - you are not alone!
Each coaching session is personalized so it will vary person to person but the overall approach begins with an initial complementary consultation to decide if health coaching is for you. Then, we would work together every other week for 45 minutes. Each session would be focused on your individual health goals, what's getting in the way of these goals and what solutions we can develop together to overcome them. I will check in with you via text or email (giving a gentle nudge!) every week to help keep you on track. After 3 months, we will decide if it makes sense to keep working together. All sessions will be done virtually and will be scheduled a time that is convenient for you.
Since health is highly personalized and the definition of health is broad - mind, body, nutrition, purpose - the goals vary person to person. Goals can range from feeling better overall, having more energy, reducing stress, feeling confident in food choices, increasing types of movement. We work together to clarify your goals (articulating a specific wellness vision) and figure out how to get there.
As a health coach I help guide, motivate and support you to reach your wellness vision with sustainable lifestyle changes on and off the plate. As a coach I give gentle nudges to ensure accountability along the way.

One of the top reasons people move away from their health goals is they are simply too busy - they lack time and energy. I get it! And busy includes people managing a household, people working for a company, retired individuals with busy volunteer and other commitments. I want to help busy people find simple, sustainable ways to fit wellness into their lives into their unique schedules.
Health coaches work with your individual health goals and look at holistic wellness including nutrition, physical, mental, purpose, even social and financial wellness. It is about the total you. Personal trainers focus on improving physical fitness specifically through exercise and physical activity.
Health coaches and nutritionists both are professionals who help people improve their health and wellness but with different areas of expertise. Nutritionists are experts in the field of nutrition and focus on food and diet-related concerns. Health coaches take a holistic approach to wellness looking not only at nutrition, but also at a person’s overall life including physical, mental, social, environmental, financial wellness. Health coaches guide and motivate individuals to move toward their personalized health and wellness goals with sustainable lifestyle changes on and off the plate.
As anyone who has worked on a team knows, when the individual team members are feeling their best the person, team and business thrive. Especially today with a mix of WFH and other work environments, people are increasingly feeling disconnected, lacking movement during the day and struggling to feel fully engaged. With a combination of 1x1 coaching and team workshops the entire team (and business!) can increase thrive - improving physical & mental health, connection and creativity.
